8. Write a news story about the death of your main character.
*I suppose that I'm my main character, seeing as I write mostly about myself...
Yesterday at 5:45pm a man was found dead in his apartment off River Road. An investigation is still underway, but officials are ruling the death accidental.
Police were called when a neighbor noticed a strong smell of rotting food coming from the apartment. After entering, a body was discovered in the kitchen, surrounded by avocados. It appears the man was keeping hundreds of them above his refrigerator. A serrated knife was found next to the body, under the pile of fruit.
At this point, investigators believe the man was grabbing from the stock and triggered an avalanche of avo, in the chaos cutting himself. Unconscious from the pummeling, he was left bleeding out and didn't wake in time to address his wound.
It is unlikely there was any foul play. When asked about the incident, Detective James Wilbur stated, "It's a real shame, a whole produce section worth of avocado's have gone to waste."
